What is Mastopexy?
Mastopexy, simply called a “breast lift”, is an operation that raises and reshapes sagging breasts without changing their size. The surgeon removes extra skin, tightens the breast tissue, and re-positions the nipple, so it faces forward instead of downward. No breast tissue is removed, and only skin is trimmed. If you want added volume, a small implant or fat graft can be placed simultaneously. Do not call it a breast augmentation; mastopexy lifts what you already own. The goal is to give you a firmer, more youthful breast contour that matches your body frame and lets you wear bras or swimwear without padding.
